Caribbean Chemicals Launches Website Linking Farmers Directly With Buyers

Linking Farmers from Caribbean Chemicals is a free online networking hub, where farmers and buyers can link directly to buy and sell 100% local produce.

This free website allows ease of use, where farmers can create an account and list their available local produce, as well as by products (e.g., honey, eggs). In turn, buyers — restaurant owners, caterers, retailers, hotels, etc. — can browse what’s available and purchase in just a few clicks. Buyers can request produce for current as well as future purchases on the “buying board”.

Potential buyers can log on to the platform and post or access listings, making their trading easy. Buyers both inside and outside of Trinidad and Tobago, are also welcome to contact and purchase, from the listed farmers.

Your first step as a buyer or seller is to create a free account, with a valid email address and phone number. Simply select ‘farmer’ or ‘buyer’ on the homepage, and follow the sign-up steps.

This website is developed and sponsored by Caribbean Chemicals, the leading distributor of agricultural inputs in the Caribbean with offices in Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. They are currently serving over 25 countries with plans to expand this site into all Caribbean territories they serve.
