A course on drone piloting, aimed at technicians from the Northeast, Northcentral,
Northwest, and North regions, was taught by the Ministry of Agriculture in this city in Cibao.
The training lasted three days, during which they were instructed in safe and efficient drone operation and maneuvers, so they can apply them in precision agriculture and improve crop productivity.
Participants were trained in high-precision propulsion and piloting for agricultural maneuvers.
The course was taught by the company Agricultura Inteligente (AGRINTEL), with several theoretical and practical field modules, masterfully facilitated by experts Aldo Paula, Miguel Helena, Nathalia Carrasco, Sabelys Díaz, Warlin Manuel Toribio, and Henry Cabrera, most of whom are drone pilots.
At the conclusion of the first drone piloting course, engineer Aldo Paula urged participants to continue developing their knowledge, as technology has become a key factor in agriculture, which must become more technical.
For her part, Engineer Dianela Figueroa, from the Ministry of Agriculture’s Public Investment Program, assured that more courses will continue to be offered to continue training agricultural technicians and to replicate them so that the knowledge benefits producers.
Engineer Pedro Trinidad Ledesma, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, highlighted the importance of technological development in the sector.
This course is part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to promote the modernization of the sector, providing technicians with innovative tools that will improve agricultural productivity and sustainability in the country.
